Annual Fund

There is still time to make a year end gift to the Annual Fund!
In order for your gift to count for the 2008 tax year:

  • Checks must be postmarked on or before December 31.
  • Credit Card gifts can be made online on or before December 31 using our secure giving form for immediate processing, see link to the right. Credit card gifts sent by mail may not be transacted until after January 1 and may not qualify for a 2008 year end gift.
  • Gifts of stock are made by printing and submitting the stock transfer form to your financial institution, see link to the right. Allow your financial institution 3-5 days for processing.
Annual fund gifts directly benefit all students at HCHS by supporting the general operating budget and providing excellence funding to benefit all students. Annual fund gifts provide resources necessary for classroom materials, faculty salaries that allow HCHS to attract experienced teachers, and basic needs like security, electricity, and air conditioning. Additionally, the excellence funding from these gifts provide resources for special programs like Camp Mustang, Missions Emphasis Week, and other items to improve the quality of education and student life on campus.

Many thanks to those families who have already made their gift or pledge this year. Thank you for your support of HCHS.

Spirit of Leadership Fund Annual Campaign

The Spirit of Leadership Fund , is the HCHS Annual Program. The annual fund program allows you to match your interests to the school's operating budget. Our goal is to partner with you so that you may direct your gift to the area of the school that is most important to you.

These funds represent every aspect of the school's life: athletics, faculty, financial aid, fine arts and spiritual development. However, if you prefer, you may choose to give your gift without any specific designation.

Showing your commitment to the school with a gift to the Spirit of Leadership Fund is important to Houston Christian's success. Every gift no matter what size is used to provide resources that benefit each student. The collective power of giving by parents, trustees, faculty/staff, alumni, and friends makes an impact that will lead Houston Christian High School to new heights and will motivate others in the community to support the school. Athletics

Houston Christian's athletic program enriches the spiritual lives, develops the social and moral character, and enhances the physical skills of our students by means of a competitive athletic program administered in a loving and caring Christian environment. Your gift will help support all athletic programs at HCHS.

Faculty

Having a dedicated faculty is the key to ensure Houston Christian's students receive academic and instructional excellence. Your gifts will support faculty professional development, classroom enhancements and curricular planning in all academic departments.

Financial Aid

A commitment to financial aid provides assistance to many academically qualified students who could not otherwise attend a private school. Our mission as Christian educators is to assist them while achieving diversity in the socioeconomic backgrounds of the student body.

Fine Arts

Providing opportunities for students to express themselves through art, music and drama, is an important component in a student's education at Houston Christian High School. Your gift will assure continued exceptional instruction for all students at all levels.

Leadership Fund

If your desire is to demonstrate your financial support with an undesignated gift to the school, please give to the Leadership Fund. The Head of School will determine where your gift will make the greatest impact. Thank you for your support and trust.

Spiritual Life

Moral, ethical and spiritual growth are integral to our student's educational experience. Your gift for Spiritual Life will provide funding for motivational chapel speakers and support our students in a variety of community involvement and service programs.

"Your gift will help support the operating budget for your designated program.  Houston Christian High School is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.”
