Band

The HCHS Mustang Band is open to all students grades 9-12 at HCHS. In 2007, the band received the honor of being the Texas Association of Private and Parochial School's Band Music State Champion. Band class offers a progressive learning situation, which gives the students the opportunity to find expression through musical performances on a band instrument. Houston Christian High School Band students have opportunities to participate in District and State Band Contests, Solo/Ensemble Contests, performances at HCHS athletic events, concerts and a spring band trip. The Houston Christian Band carries a standard of excellence for Christian young people.
