Sports Medicine

Athletic Physicals must be on file with the athletic trainer prior to any off-season or in-season participation in a school sport at Houston Christian High School. HCHS athletic physical folders are available for pick up in the athletic office and the attendance office.

The athletic training and sports medicine program at Houston Christian High School provides health care for all the athletic teams and sports programs. This health care includes the taping, treatment, prevention, rehabilitation, and first aid of athletic injuries. The sports medicine program works with all 10 men’s sports and 10 women’s sports plus drill team and cheerleading. The school provides an excellent training facility along with excellent training equipment.

Calvin Salois is the head athletic trainer for the Houston Christian mustang athletic program. He is the first full time trainer at the school. He came to Houston Christian after retiring with many years of service as an athletic trainer at Taylor High School in Katy and in the public school system of Texas.
